Shockwave Volleyball Club is a performance volleyball program for girl’s ages 18 and under. The USA Volleyball (USAV) governs the program and we are part of the Evergreen Region Volleyball Association (ERVA).  Shockwave Volleyball Club is a non-profit corporation registered with the Corporations Division of the Washington Office of the Secretary of State.

Mission Statement

The Shockwave Volleyball Club is dedicated to providing a highly competitive volleyball program in the Mid-Columbia region in order to promote the sport of volleyball. We are focused on training our players to play to the best of their ability by stressing fundamentals and competitive game play. At the same time, players will learn the meaning of team, a strong sense of sportsmanship, fair play, and enjoyment of playing the game.

Shockwave VBC Values

Sports can be a powerful instrument in the growth and development of individuals. In order to aid each of our athletes in the realization of this untapped potential, Shockwave VBC must live by and promote a set of fundamental ethical beliefs and principles that govern the way the organization and its members conduct themselves, both on and off the court.  These beliefs and principles are as follows:

  • The volleyball program should be athlete-centered.
  • The volleyball program should promote the spirit of fairness, integrity, opportunity and trust.
  • Every member should have the opportunity to achieve her maximal potential, developmentally and/or competitively, in the pursuit of excellence.
  • Foster an environment conducive to developing the total person with regard to physical fitness, personal conduct, commitment to school, commitment to community, and balanced priorities.
  • All participants should have access to a quality experience that encourages their lifetime participation in volleyball.
  • The volleyball program should be both fun and an agent for personal and social growth.
